Inter Milan in advanced talks to bring Juventus wing-back Kwadwo Asamoah

There has been intense speculation surrounding the future of Kwadwo Asamoah in the last period.

According to the football transfer rumours in Italian media, Inter Milan are in advanced talks to bring Juventus wing-back Kwadwo Asamoah.

The 29-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.

The Ghana international joined Juventus from Udinese for a fee in the region of 18 million euros in July 2012. His contract expires in the summer of 2018.

Asamoah has played 153 times for Juventus since signing from Udinese, scoring five goals and creating 21 assists in that time.

His record for Ghana is also impressive. Asamoah has scored four goals in 69 matches for Ghana at senior level.

Given that his contract is expiring soon and he has not yet signed an extension, the rumors have only heated up in recent weeks.

Luciano Spalletti wants to sign a new wing-back and Kwadwo Asamoah is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.

The report claims that Inter Milan manager has extensively scouted Asamoah and is considering a move for the wing-back.

The left-back can also play as a full-back, offering Spalletti a different option should he change his formation at Inter Milan.

According to Football Italia, “The agent of Juventus wing-back Kwadwo Asamoah is meeting with Inter today, according to multiple reports. The Ghanaian international, who can also play in midfield, is out of contract on June 30 and it appears the Bianconeri won’t offer him a renewal. It’s widely expected that he’ll join Inter on a free transfer, and both Sky and Premium Sport report that his agent, Federico Pastorello, is at Appiano Gentile this evening.”

A move to Inter Milan is exactly what Kwadwo Asamoah needs to reignite his career, and we hope he is able to do just that.
