There has been intense speculation surrounding the future of Joao Pedro in the last period.
According to the football transfer rumours in Italian media, Inter Milan are considering a move for Cagliari striker Joao Pedro.
Pedro has been at Cagliari since 2014 when he joined from Estoril. The 29-year-old’s contract at Cagliari is set to expire at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
In 240 appearances for Cagliari, Pedro has managed to score 77 goals, and create 26 goals for his teammates.
Inter have earmarked Pedro as their target, with Simone Inzaghi being a ‘huge admirer’ of the player.
His arrival would give Inter Milan some much needed tactical flexibility.
According to the report, “Cagliari striker Joao Pedro is interesting Inter Milan. Inter see Pedro as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez. The Chile great is unsettled after battling for minutes under coach Simone Inzaghi. Calciomercato.com says Pedro is one of the names on Inter’s list to replace Alexis. The Brazilian has several admirers inside Inter and they see him as ideal cover for their first-choice attack. Also encouraging Inter is their good relationship with the Sardinians.”

Good signing for Inter Milan?
Signing the striker could be a good decision as he could improve Inzaghi’s attacking options.
Joao Pedro has all the skillset required to be a success story at Inter Milan. Therefore, it makes sense for Simone Inzaghi to step up his attempts to bring the Brazil striker to Serie A side.
