Galatasaray keen to land Gedson Fernandes

There has been intense speculation surrounding the future of Gedson Fernandes in the last period.

According to the football transfer rumours in British and Italian media, Galatasaray are keen to land Benfica midfielder Gedson Fernandes.

In January 2020, Fernandes was sent to Tottenham on loan. The midfielder has featured in only two matches for Spurs this term in all competitions.

The 22-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Portugal.

Gedson Fernandes has represented Portugal at Under-15, Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 72 caps and scoring 9 goals, before making his senior international debut in September 2018. As a member of Portugal national football team, Fernandes won two caps.

The Portugal international midfielder has struggled to adapt to English football and he could be made available this winter.
