Fiorentina poised to land Celta Vigo midfielder Stanislav Lobotka
Celta Vigo midfielder Stanislav Lobotka is a target for Fiorentina in the summer transfer window.
According to a report from Football Italia, Fiorentina are the most recent club to show interest in the Slovakia international.
The Slovakia international joined Celta Vigo from Nordsjælland for a fee in the region of 5 million euros in July 2017. His contract expires in the summer of 2023.
Lobotka made 41 appearances across all competitions for Celta.
The 23-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Slovakia.
As a member of Slovakia national football team, Lobotka won 11 caps and he scored two goals.
His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Fiorentina.

According to Football Italia (via Calciomercato), “Fiorentina have joined Napoli in negotiations for Celta Vigo midfielder Stanislav Lobotka. He has a €45m release clause in his contract, but could go for considerably less, as he has made it clear he wants to move on this summer. According to Calciomercato.it, Fiorentina representatives met with his agent to discuss a possible transfer. The 23-year-old Slovakia international had been heavily linked with Napoli, but the idea was dropped when Marek Hamsik didn’t move to China.”
