Fiorentina are reportedly one of many clubs keeping tabs on Italy international Manolo Gabbiadini.
According to the football transfer rumours in Italian media, Fiorentina are keen to land Southampton striker Manolo Gabbiadini.
The Italy international was signed by Southampton in January 2017 from Napoli for a fee of 17 million euros. The 27-year-old has a contract until 2021 with the club.
Gabbiadini has played 79 times for Southampton since signing from Napoli, scoring 25 goals and creating 5 assists in that time.
The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Italy.
As a member of Italy national football team, Gabbiadini won 11 caps and he scored two goals.
The Southampton manager does not see him in his plans and would be open to letting him leave.
Stefano Pioli is looking to shore up his attacking options and Southampton’s Manolo Gabbiadini happens to be a target.
The Italy international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of striker Pioli wants to target in the winter transfer window.
According to, “Fiorentina are interested in taking Manolo Gabbiadini back to Italy from Southampton next month. Fellow Serie A side Bologna and other clubs from England and Spain are also keen on the striker, who has struggled to make an impact at St Mary’s.”

Southampton are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the striker, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.
The 27-year-old would be a very good addition for Fiorentina and they can afford him as well.
