Everton target Newcastle winger Ryan Fraser
The attacking department of the Everton squad needs quality additions this summer.
It’s claimed by British media that Everton are targeting Newcastle United winger Ryan Fraser.
The Scotland international joined Newcastle United from AFC Bournemouth on a free transfer in 2020. His contract expires in the summer of 2025.
The winger has featured in only 8 matches (311 minutes) for Newcastle this term in all competitions.
He is considered to be one of the best wingers in Scotland. The Newcastle United player has also represented the Scotland at various youth levels before going on to secure 25 senior caps for his country thus far.
The Scotland international is believed to be available for transfer, with Sean Dyche now keen to bring him to Everton.
Dyche needs to sign players who can add creativity from the middle of the park.
The former Bournemouth man will add a new dimension to Everton’s attack. He has the quality and the experience to make an immediate impact.
According to the report, “On the subject of who Fraser could join, Everton are an early contender. The Toffees reportedly explored a move to sign the 28-year-old winger during the winter window. Newcastle and Everton were in discussions at the time over Anthony Gordon’s move the other way and Fraser was a name banded around, per 90min. A move obviously did not come to pass, though if Sean Dyche can guide Everton to safety, they may well reignite their interest. Everton are known to have their backs against the wall financially and were the only Premier League side not to sign a new player in January. Given Fraser’s career has hit rock bottom at Newcastle, it stands to reason a suitor such as Everton will be able to secure a transfer on the cheap.”

The Toffees will have to come up with the right proposal to convince Fraser to join the club.
It is claimed that Newcastle United are open to letting Fraser go.
Good signing for Everton?
If Ryan Fraser is available for the right price, then he could be a clever acquisition for Everton.
The winger has his peak years ahead of him and would be a good acquisition for Everton if they can find a way to bring him on board during the summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old could be a good fit for Dyche’s Everton.
It will be interesting to see what happens when Everton come calling for Fraser this summer.
