Everton submit bid for Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri

Everton have submitted bid for Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri, according to the football transfer rumours in French media.

The Ivory Coast international joined Nice from Pacos de Ferreira for a fee in the region of 1 million euros in July 2015. His contract expires in the summer of 2019.

Seri has played 101 times for Nice since signing from Pacos de Ferreira, scoring 11 goals and creating 20 assists in that time.

As a member of Ivory Coast national football team, Seri won 16 caps and he scored one goal.

Signing the 26-year-old in January would be a masterstroke from Sam Allardyce.
