The 31-year-old is considered to be one of the best wingers in Croatia.

His record for Croatia is also impressive. Perisic has scored 26 goals in 96 matches for Croatia at senior level.

Carlo Ancelotti wants to sign a new winger and Ivan Perisic is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.

The Croatia international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of winger Ancelotti wants to target in the winter transfer window.

Carlo Ancelotti is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this winter.

The Toffees are desperate to make an impact in the winter transfer window.

Ivan Perisic is a dynamic winger, who possesses good technical skills and ball control. His tricky dribbling, fantastic shot and pace make him a nightmare for any defender to defend.

According to the report,”Everton are interested in a late move for experienced winger Ivan Perisic. Everton reportedly want to sign Ivan Perisic before the close of the transfer window tonight. Everton are yet to make any new signings in the January transfer window. However, Carlo Ancelotti wants that to change before the 11pm deadline. Perisic has started 10 Serie A matches for Inter Milan this season since returning from his loan spell at Bayern Munich last term. Football Insider claim Ancelotti wants to bring in Perisic, with fellow winger Bernard set to leave the club on loan. Bernard is linked with a move to Dubai-based club Al-Nasr after making just six Premier League appearances so far this season. And Everton chiefs have identified Perisic as a replacement for the Brazilian. Perisic has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United previously keen on the Croatian. He was part of the Bayern side that won the Champions League and Bundesliga double last season.”

Inter are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the winger, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.

Ivan Perisic ideal fit for Everton?

If Ivan Perisic is available for the right price, then he could be a clever acquisition for Everton.

A winger of Perisic’s ceiling will be a massive addition to Everton squad as he will not only improve the overall quality of Carlo Ancelotti’s starting XI but also add some stability and variety to his attacking department.

The Toffees should do everything in their power to sign the in-demand Ivan Perisic, who has all the qualities to be a success at the club.

Whether he will join Everton or not remains to be seen.
