Everton to make firm offer for Las Palmas defender Mauricio Lemos

Las Palmas defender Mauricio Lemos has emerged as a surprise target for Everton ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to the football transfer rumours in Spanish Media (Iusport), Everton will make firm offer for Las Palmas defender Mauricio Lemos.

The Uruguay international has joined Las Palmas from Rubin Kazan for a fee in the region of 2 million euros in July 2016. The 21-year-old has a valid contract with Las Palmas until June 2021.

Mauricio Lemos has played 26 times for Las Palmas since signing from Rubin Kazan , scoring five goals in that time.

The 21-year-old is considered to be one of the best defenders in Uruguay.

The Uruguay international has been in impressive form for Las Palmas this season.

Mauricio Lemos has represented Uruguay at Under-20 level, winning 14 caps.
