The France international was signed by Barcelona in July 2018 from Sevilla for a fee of 35.9 million euros. The 26-year-old has a contract until 2026 with the club.
The centre-back has featured in 48 matches last term, netting one goal.
The 26-year-old is considered to be one of the best centre-backs in France. As a member of France national football team, Lenglet won 13 caps and he scored one goal.
The centre-back is currently out of favor at Barcelona and could leave the club this summer.

The report states that Benitez is not a fan of Everton center back Yerry Mina, while he thinks Ben Godfrey and Mason Holgate are not quite ready for the big time.”
