Frank Lampard wants to sign a new goalkeeper and Haikin is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. He is a firm fan of Bodo/Glimt goalkeeper and Everton could make a move for the player if the financial aspect makes sense.

According to the report, “Everton are eyeing Bodo/Glimt goalkeeper Nikita Haikin. The Telegraph says the 27-year-old will be available on a free transfer from December, when his current contract in Norway runs out come the end of their domestic season. Such a move would potentially be preparation for the departure of Asmir Begovic, whose contract at Goodison Park runs out next summer. Haikin, who has featured for Russia’s youth teams but is yet to pick up a senior cap, began his career in Chelsea’s academy before moving to Israel and then Norway, where he became Bodo/Glimt’s No.1 and has played in the Champions League.”
