Everton interested in Daniel Podence

Daniel Podence has been identified as one of the club’s potential targets as Frank Lampard looks to add more reinforcements in the attacking unit.

The 27-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.

Wolves spent 19.6 million euros to sign the Portugal international from Olympiacos in the winter of 2020. He has a valid contract until June 2024.

Indeed, Football Insider reports that the 27-year-old is firmly on the radar of Everton’s recruitment team. That is largely down to a growing belief this could be Podence’s last season at Wolves. It’s claimed Mendes will look to find a new club for Podence over the coming months. That’s despite the fact the player has been a regular starter at Molineux this term.”
