It’s no secret that Everton are interested in Armando Broja. But who isn’t?
According to multiple reports emanating from England, Everton are in talks with Chelsea over 35 million euros deal for Armando Broja.
The 20-year-old’s contract at Chelsea is set to expire at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
He has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Albania. Armando Broja has represented Albania at Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 10 caps and scoring six goals, before making his senior international debut in September 2020. As a member of Albania national football team, Broja won 14 caps and he scored four goals.
Armando Broja has been in impressive form for Southampton last season and it looks like he caught the eye of many European clubs including Everton.
Frank Lampard wants to sign a new forward and Broja is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. He is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this summer.
The Toffees are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.
There is no doubt that Broja will take Everton’s attack to a different level.
According to the report, “Everton have contacted Chelsea for Armando Broja. Sky Sports says Everton have approached Chelsea over the potential signing of Broja. The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Southampton and made a positive impression, scoring nine times in all competitions for the Saints. It is unclear at this stage as to whether or not Chelsea will cash in on Broja or decide to give him a first-team chance. Everton are among the sides showing an interest should the former occur. For the moment, Blues manager Thomas Tuchel wants to see Broja in preseason before making a final decision.”
Euro Football Rumours
The Blues are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the forward, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.
It would take a huge offer from Everton to prise the 20-year-old forward from Chelsea.
Good signing for Everton?
Armando Broja stands as an excellent option for Everton. Broja has all the skillset required to be a success story at Everton. Therefore, it makes sense for Frank Lampard to step up his attempts to bring the Albanian forward to Premier League side.
If Lampard sees him as the right man for his side, Everton should quickly make a move to fend off interest from other clubs.
