The reports in England suggested that Derby County are looking to loan Newcastle United midfielder Matty Longstaff.
The 20-year-old midfielder has played all his life at Newcastle. He has made his way through the youth system at the English club and made his senior debut in 2019.
Longstaff made 16 appearances across all competitions for Newcastle United, scoring three goals.
The 20-year-old is a great talent, almost always reliable when played.

According to the report, “Derby County are targeting Newcastle United midfielder Matty Longstaff. Longstaff recently signed a two-year deal on Tyneside, but has been restricted to just one appearance so far this season after spending time on the sidelines through injury. The Sunday Mirror says former Magpies boss Steve McClaren has identified the 20-year-old as a potential loan target for Derby County next month. McClaren was recently named technical director with the Rams. Derby are currently in the Championship relegation zone and have just parted ways with manager Phillip Cocu.”
