Crystal Palace make bid for Arsenal defender Calum Chambers
According to the football transfer rumours in British Media (The Telegraph), Crystal Palace make bid for Arsenal defender Calum Chambers.
The England international has joined Arsenal from Southampton for a fee in the region of 20 million euros in July 2014. The 22-year-old has a valid contract with Arsenal until June 2020. In August 2016, Calum Chambers was sent to Middlesbrough on a season-long loan.
Since his arrival from Arsenal, Chambers has scored one goal and provided one assist in 26 games for Middlesbrough in all competitions last season.
The 22-year-old is considered to be one of the best young defenders in England.
Chambers has represented England at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 46 caps and scoring 5 goals, before making his senior international debut in September 2014. As a member of England national football team, Calum Chambers has won three caps.
Calum Chambers is one of the more likely players to be offloaded by Arsenal this summer and the list of suitors in the England international continues to grow.
Adding a defender remains Crystal Palace’s top priority this summer and Frank de Boer will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming weeks.
The England international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of defensive player Frank de Boer wants to target in the summer transfer window.

According to the British Media, Crystal Palace have already made a bid of around 19 million euros for Arsenal defender.
Arsenal are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the defender, but right offers may force the club to consider a deal.
