Arsenal target Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez
There has been intense speculation surrounding the future of Lucas Vazquez in the last period.
According to the football transfer rumours in Spanish media, Arsenal are targeting Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez.
The 28-year-old has two years left on his current contract which expires in 2021.
Vazquez has played 191 times for Real Madrid, scoring 22 goals and creating 44 assists in that time.
As a member of Spain national football team, Vazquez won 9 caps.
The Spain international is believed to be available for transfer, with Unai Emery now keen to bring him to Arsenal.
Emery is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this winter.
Arsenal are desperate to make an impact in the winter transfer window.
Lucas Vazquez can play multiple positions in attack.
According to Football Espana, “The fresh report claims the Gunners are keen on his signature this January, with Italian side Roma and Bayer Leverkusen also holding an interest in the Spain international. Galician native Vazquez is said to be one of the players who can leave the Santiago Bernabéu in the coming year in order to generate funds for reinvestment elsewhere in Zinedine Zidane’s squad. Vazquez has started just three of Madrid’s eight La Liga games to date this campaign and whilst he is not surplus to requirements, he is not irreplaceable in the squad.”
