Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for Danny Drinkwater over the course of the transfer window.
According to the football transfer rumours in British Media (The Telegraph), Chelsea will make new offer for Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater.
The England international has joined Leicester City from Manchester United for a fee in the region of 900,000 euros in January 2012. The 27-year-old has a valid contract with Leicester City until June 2021.
Since his arrival from Manchester United, Danny Drinkwater has scored 15 goals and provided 23 assists in 218 games for Leicester City in all competitions.
The England international has been in outstanding form for Leicester City last season.
Danny Drinkwater has represented England at Under-18 and Under-19 level, winning 16 caps and scoring 2 goals, before making his senior international debut in March 2016. As a member of England national football team, Danny Drinkwater has won 3 caps.
The 27-year-old is high in demand this summer, with him having enjoyed a sublime season for Leicester City last term.
Antonio Conte is keen to secure at least three more signing this summer, and Danny Drinkwater could very well be a man under consideration.
The report claims that Chelsea manager has extensively scouted Danny Drinkwater and is considering a move for the midfielder.
