The reports in England suggested that Chelsea are leading the race for Genoa forward Krzysztof Piatek.
The Poland international joined Genoa from Cracovia for a fee in the region of 4.5 million euros in July 2018. His contract expires in the summer of 2022.
Piatek has played 7 times for Genoa since signing from Cracovia, scoring 12 goals.
The 23-year-old is considered to be one of the best forwards in Poland.
Krzysztof Piatek has represented Poland at Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 15 caps and scoring 3 goals, before making his senior international debut in September 2018. As a member of Poland national football team, Piatek won one cap.
The Poland international has impressed in Serie A this season and is starting to attract the interest of bigger clubs.
