According to the football transfer rumours in Spanish Media, Chelsea are join the hunt for Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata.
Real Madrid exercised their buy-back clause to bring back Alvaro Morata from Juventus for a fee in a region of 30 million euros in 2016.
The Spain international has two fantastic seasons in Turin. In that period Morata has scored 27 goals and provided 19 assists in 93 matches for Juventus.
Since his arrival from Juventus, 24 year-old has scored nine goals and provided four assists in 23 games for Real Madrid, but he has played only 1,093 minutes in all competitions this season.
Euro Football Rumours were informed that main reasons for this rumour is Morata’s limited playing time at Real Madrid and Chelsea’s need of a proven forward to replace Diego Costa if he leaves in China in January transfer window. The Chinese Club Tianjin Quanjian are said to have already offered in a region of 93 million euros for Diago Costa’s services, including around 675,000 euros per-week wages for the Spain international.
Chelsea are thought to hold a strong interest in the midfielder, with Juventus and Arsenal also keeping a close eye on proceedings.
