Chelsea eyeing move for Dean Henderson

There has been intense speculation surrounding the future of Dean Henderson in the last period.

It’s claimed by British media that Chelsea are eyeing move for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

The 23-year-old has been subject to interest from various Premier League clubs.

In July 2019, Dean Henderson was sent to Sheffield United on a season-long loan.

Since his arrival from Manchester United, Henderson has conceded 24 goals and provided 11 clean sheets in 30 games for Sheffield United.

But United are aware of the interest and are hoping a brand new contract will persuade Henderson to stay at the club. This would allow United to secure Henderson’s long-term future and possibly send him out on loan again next season, with the Blades keen for him to return.”


Chelsea will have to come up with the right proposal to convince Henderson to join the club.

Manchester United would be wise to keep the England international, but if they do let him go expect it to be for a hefty sum.

Signing the 23-year-old would be a masterstroke from Frank Lampard.
