According to the football transfer rumours in German Media, Chelsea are chasing Borussia Dortmund striker Marco Reus.
Marco Reus has joined Borussia Dortmund from Borussia Mönchengladbach for a fee in the region of 17.1 million euros in 2012. The 27 year-old has a valid contract with Borussia Dortmund until June 2019.
Since his arrival from Borussia Mönchengladbach, Marco Reus has scored 82 goals and provided 60 assists in 180 games for Borussia Dortmund, including six goals and provided seven assists in 15 games in all competitions this season.
The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Bundesliga.
Marco Reus has represented Germany at Under-21 level, winning two caps, before making his senior international debut in October 2011. As a member of Germany national football team, Reus has won 29 caps and score nine goals.
The Germany international is a player who has impressed many European Clubs in the last few seasons, and it is understood that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte would prefer playing him as a forward or winger.
Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool are apparently trailing Chelsea in the pursuit of Borussia Dortmund striker Marco Reus.
Euro Football Rumours understood that the Germany international is Chelsea’s top summer target and Borussia Dortmund valuate their striker in the region of 80 million euros.
