Brighton are planning a move for AC Milan centre-back Gustavo Gomez.
According to the football transfer rumours in Italian media, Brighton are keen to land AC Milan centre-back Gustavo Gomez.
The Paraguay international was signed by AC Milan in August 2016 from Lanus for a fee of 9 million euros. The 24-year-old has a contract until 2021 with the club.
Gomez made only 20 appearances across all competitions for AC Milan.
The 24-year-old is considered to be one of the best centre-backs in Paraguay.
Gustavo Gomez has represented Paraguay at Under-20 level, winning 10 caps and scoring one goal, before making his senior international debut in September 2013. As a member of Paraguay national football team, Gomez won 21 caps and he scored two goals.
The 24-year-old is one of the more likely players to be offloaded by Milan and the list of suitors in the Paraguay international continues to grow.
The Brighton manager is in the market for a new centre-back when the transfer window reopens.
The report claims that Chris Hughton has extensively scouted Gustavo Gomez and is considering a move for the centre-back.
Brighton will be desperate to make an impact in winter transfer window.
The 24-year-old is certainly a player that would strengthen the current Brighton squad and would be a good buy.
