According to the football transfer rumours in British Media, Bournemouth are targeting Chelsea defensive midfielder Nathan Ake.
The Netherlands international was signed by Chelsea in July 2011 from Feyenoord for a fee of 800,000 euros. The 22-year-old has a valid contract with Chelsea until June 2020.
Since his arrival from Feyenoord, Nathan Ake has provided two assists in 17 games for Chelsea.
The 22-year-old is considered to be one of the best defensive midfielders in Netherlands.
Nathan Ake has represented Netherlands at Under-16, Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 63 caps and scoring 11 goals.
The Netherlands international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of defensive player Eddie Howe wants to target in the summer transfer window.
Euro Football Rumours understood that Nathan Ake is a player who has impressed many Premier League clubs in the last few seasons, and it is understood that Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe would prefer playing him as a defender.
How strong that interest is and whether Bournemouth will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
