Borussia Dortmund will look to sign Malcom

It’s no secret that Borussia Dortmund are interested in Malcom. But who isn’t?

The reports in Spain suggested that Borussia Dortmund will look to sign Barcelona winger Malcom.

The Brazil international joined Barcelona from Bordeaux for a fee in the region of 41 million euros in July 2018. His contract expires in the summer of 2023.

Malcom has scored 4 goals and assisted 2 more across all competitions this season.

The 22-year-old is considered to be one of the best wingers in Brazil.

Malcom is one of the more likely players to be offloaded by Barcelona this summer and the list of suitors in the Brazil international continues to grow.

Lucien Favre wants to sign a new winger and Malcom is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.

Malcom has been long term target of Favre as the manager look to bolster his attacking options for the next season. He would provide a good variety to Borussia Dortmund’s attack.

According to Football Espana, “Borussia Dortmund want to sign Barcelona winger Malcom this summer to replace the outgoing Cristian Pulisic, report Diario Sport. The report adds that the Blaugrana are willing to recoup the summer fee they spent on the winger last summer – terms which are agreeable to Dortmund. English trio Everton, Tottenham and Arsenal have previously been linked to a deal while there have also been reports in the Spanish press that there is interest from the Chinese Super League. It is reported that Barca boss Ernesto Valverde did not give the green light to Malcom’s arrival last year and he does not plan to give him a prominent role in his squad.”

A big money bid from Borussia Dortmund could tempt Barcelona into selling their prized asset.

Malcom would reportedly be interested in a move this summer, but if Borussia Dortmund do want him, they will have to beat those other interested clubs to his signature.
