Bayern Munich will look to sign Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha

It’s no secret that Bayern Munich are interested in Wilfried Zaha. But who isn’t?

According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Bayern Munich will look to sign Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha.

Crystal Palace spent 3.8 million euros to sign the Ivory Coast international from Manchester United in the winter of 2015. The 26-year-old has four years left on his current contract which expires in 2023.

Niko Kovac is looking to shore up his attacking options and Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha happens to be a target. He is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this summer.

There is no doubt that Wilfried Zaha will take Bayern Munich’s attack to a different level.

According to The Sun, “The German champions are determined to sign a winger this summer but have missed out a number of key targets. Callum Hudson-Odoi looks set to stay at Chelsea and sign a new £100,000-per-week contract at Stamford Bridge, despite trying to force through a move to the Allianz Arena in January. And they have had no better luck in trying to land Manchester City winger Leroy Sane. The Etihad club wanted £90million for the German star, who has played a key role in their back-to-back Premier League titles wins. And now, according to 90min.com, Crystal Palace star Zaha is their next target to try and help replace veteran duo Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.”

Crystal Palace would be wise to keep the Ivory Coast international, but if they do let him go expect it to be for a hefty sum.

Bayern are reportedly facing competition from Arsenal and Everton in their pursuit of Crystal Palace forward.

The 26-year-old is certainly a player that would strengthen the current Bayern squad and would be a good buy in the summer transfer window.

Will Wilfried Zaha be a Bayern player soon? Only time will tell.
