Bayern Munich in advanced negotiations with RB Leipzig winger Emil Forsberg
Bayern Munich are looking set to land Emil Forsberg after German Media revealed that they are in advanced negotiations with RB Leipzig ahead of a potential move.
The Sweden international was signed by RB Leipzig in January 2015 from Malmö FF for a fee of 3.7 million euros. The 25-year-old has a valid contract with RB Leipzig until June 2022.
Since his arrival from Malmö FF, Emil Forsberg has scored 16 goals and provided 33 assists in 80 games for RB Leipzig, including eight goals and provided 22 assists in 32 games in all competitions this season.
The Sweden international has been in impressive form for RB Leipzig this season.
Emil Forsberg has represented Sweden at Under-18 and Under-19 level, winning eight caps, before making his senior international debut in January 2014. As a member of Sweden national football team, Emil Forsberg has won 25 caps and has scored five goals.
