Ferran Torres is getting closer to Barcelona day by day as transfer talk continues to intensify.
The latest reports in England suggest that Barcelona are linked with fresh move for Ferran Torres.
The Spain international was signed by Manchester City in August 2020 from Valencia for a fee of 28 million euros. He has a contract until 2025 with the club.
The winger has banged in three goals and provided one assist in 7 matches this term on all fronts.
The 21-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Spain.
Torres has also left his mark at the international stage after netting 12 goals in 22 senior appearances for the Spain national team.
His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Barcelona.

According to the report, “Barcelona are preparing to make a new proposal to Manchester City for Ferran Torres. Barca directors Mateu Alemany and Ferran Reverter were in England last week for talks with City over Torres. An opening offer of €50m was rejected by City, which rate the attacker closer to €80m. As such, Barca hope to drive down City’s cash price by including players in their next offer. Sergino Dest, Sergi Roberto, Oscar Mingueza and Philippe Coutinho have all been mentioned as makeweights.”
