Atletico Madrid target Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United to boost their attacking options.
According to the football transfer rumours in Italian media, Atletico Madrid are interested in Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez.
The 30-year-old has three years left on his current contract which expires in 2022.
This season, Alexis Sanchez has scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists in 27 appearances for Manchester United.
As a member of Chile national football team, Sanchez won 124 caps and he scored 41 goals.
Alexis Sanchez is out of the picture at Manchester United, which has opened the door for a potential exit.
Diego Simeone is looking to shore up his attacking options and Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez happens to be a target. Simeone is a long term admirer of Sanchez and believes he can get the most out of the Chile international.
The 30-year-old would provide a good variety to Atletico Madrid’s attack.
According to Calciomercato (via The Sun), “Atletico Madrid have joined Inter Milan and Juventus in the race for former Barcelona and Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez. Sanchez moved to Manchester United in January 2018, leaving Arsenal behind in a swap deal with Mkhitaryan. However, Alexis has failed to impress in Manchester and the Red Devils are looking to offload the Chilean and his bumper wage.”
