The 24-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Poland. As a member of Poland national football team, Piatek won 10 caps and he scored 5 goals.

The Poland international is believed to be available for transfer, with Dean Smith now keen to bring him to Aston Villa.

The report claims that Aston Villa manager has extensively scouted Piatek and is considering a move for the striker.

The Poland international provides a unique blend between a classic center-forward and the modern striker.

According to Football Italia, “Aston Villa are stepping up their interest in Krzysztof Piatek, offering €30m (£25.5m) for the Milan striker. Links between Villa and Piatek first emerged just hours ago, but Gianluca Di Marzio reports that has now turned into a formal bid. Milan paid Genoa €35m for the Pole last January, and it is believed they will part with him if they receive an offer close to that. The 24-year-old scored 30 goals in all competitions during the previous campaign but has managed just four this term.”

It would take a huge offer from Aston Villa to prise the 24-year-old striker from AC Milan.

Signing the 24-year-old in the winter transfer window would be a masterstroke from Dean Smith.

Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Aston Villa.

Will Krzysztof Piatek be a Aston Villa player soon? Only time will tell.
