The Kosovo international joined Werder Bremen from Vitesse for a fee in the region of 7 million euros in January 2018. His contract expires in the summer of 2022.
The winger has banged in two goals and provided five assists in 21 matches for Werder this term on all fronts.
The 24-year-old is considered to be one of the best wingers in Kosovo.
Rashica has also left his mark at the international stage after netting four goals in 31 senior appearances for the Kosovo national team.
Dean Smith wants to sign a new winger and Rashica is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.
The 24-year-old is a long-term target of Aston Villa and could be a decent addition for Dean Smith’s side.
