The 22-year-old has three years left on his current contract which expires in 2022.
The 22-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Netherlands.
As a member of Netherlands national football team, Van de Beek won 5 caps.
His impressive performances this season have apparently caught the eye of some of Europe’s big clubs.
Roma are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.
Donny van de Beek can play multiple positions in midfield.
According to Calciomercato (via La Repubblica), “Roma have their eyes on Ajax star Donny Van de Beek as they would like to offer him to new coach Paulo Fonseca as a gift. The problem? He has a €50m price-tag which is very steep. It remains to be seen if Roma are willing to offer this much for him.”
