AS Monaco prepare mega offer for Luka Jovic
Luka Jovic is reportedly nearing a move to Monaco.
According to the football transfer rumours in British and Spanish media, Monaco are preparing mega offer for Luka Jovic.
Real Madrid spent 63 million euros to sign the Serbia international from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2019. The 23-year-old has four years left on his current contract which expires in 2025.
The striker has featured in 18 matches for Eintracht Frankfurt last term, netting four goals and providing two assists in all competitions.
The 23-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Serbia. Jovic has also left his mark at the international stage after netting five goals in 14 senior appearances for the Serbia national team.
Niko Kovač wants to sign a new striker and Jovic is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. Kovač is a firm fan of Real Madrid striker and Monaco could make a move for the player if the financial aspect makes sense.
AS Monaco are desperate to make an impact in the summer transfer window.
Luka Jovic is a traditional number nine, having all types of finishes in his locker. His finishing abilities when in and around the box will come as a massive asset to Kovač’s side.
According to the report, “AS Monaco are watching Luka Jovic’s situation at Real Madrid. Mundo Deportivo says Jovic has been put up for sale by Real Madrid this summer. And Monaco coach Niko Kovac is keen on bringing the Serbia international to Ligue Une before the market shuts. Jovic spent last season on-loan with Eintracht Frankfurt before returning to Madrid for preseason. An offer in the region of €20m would be enough for ASM to land the striker.”
