Arsenal linked with fresh move for Dennis Praet

There has been intense speculation surrounding the future of Dennis Praet in the last period.

According to a report from Calciomercato, Arsenal are linked with fresh move for Dennis Praet.

The Belgium international was signed by Sampdoria in August 2016 from Anderlecht for a fee of 10 million euros. The 24-year-old has a contract until 2021 with the club.

Praet has played 101 times for Sampdoria since signing from Anderlecht, scoring 4 goals and creating 6 assists in that time.

He’s incredibly experienced for a 24-year-old and still has tons of room for growth.

As a member of Belgium national football team, Praet won 3 caps.

Unai Emery wants to sign a new midfielder and Dennis Praet is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.

The Arsenal manager has been impressed by his performances this season and could make a move this summer.

According to Calciomercato (via Il Corriere dello Sport), “Arsenal are once again shopping at the Genoa based club and are looking at yet another midfield signing from the team, who are currently attempting to reach a place in next season’s Europa League, although it is looking increasingly unlikely. This time, Arsenal’s attention has been turned to Dennis Praet, a former Juventus target who nearly moved to Turin in 2018. Il Corriere dello Sport suggest that Praet would cost around €20m and that Mlan in fact enquired about his availability in the winter market session just gone.”
