Arsenal linked with Djed Spence
There has been numerous right-backs linked with Arsenal in past few months.
According to multiple reports emanating from England, Arsenal are linked with Middlesbrough right-back Djed Spence.
The 21-year-old has been subject to interest from various Premier League clubs.
The England international joined Middlesbrough from Fulham on a free in July 2018. In August 2021, Spence was sent to Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan.
This season, Spence has scored one goal and provided two assists in 27 appearances.
Adding a right-back remains Arsenal’s top priority this summer and Mikel Arteta will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming weeks.
Arteta has always been a manager who keeps his eyes on the most talented young players across the globe. He is a long term admirer of Spence and believes he can get the most out of the England international.
The Gunners are desperate to make an impact in the summer transfer window.
The former Fulham man can also play as a full-back, offering Arteta a different option should he change his formation at Arsenal.

The full back is on loan at Nottingham Forest, where he excelled in the FA Cup against Arsenal and Leicester City in recent weeks. Forest beat Arsenal 1-0 in the third round, and followed it up by beating Leicester 4-1 on Sunday in the fourth round.”
