Arsenal linked with VfB Stuttgart midfielder Berkay Ozcan

VfB Stuttgart midfielder Berkay Ozcan has emerged as a surprise target for Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to the football transfer rumours in Turkish Media, Arsenal are linked with VfB Stuttgart midfielder Berkay Ozcan.

Berkay Ozcan has joined VfB Stuttgart from Karlsruher SC on a free transfer in 2013. The 19 year-old has a valid contract with VfB Stuttgart until June 2019.

Since his arrival from Karlsruher SC, Berkay Ozcan has scored three goals and provided four assists in 18 games for VfB Stuttgart in all competitions this season.

The 19-year-old is considered to be one of the most talented midfielders in Turkey.

Berkay Ozcan has represented Germany at Under-15 and Turkey at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 27 caps and scoring four goals.

The 19-year old is thought to perfectly fit the profile of midfield player Arsène Wenger wants to target in the next transfer window.

How strong that interest is and whether Arsenal will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
