Arsenal join the hunt for Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto
According to the football transfer rumours in Italian Media, Arsenal have joined the hunt for Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto.
Jakub Jankto has joined Udinese from SK Slavia Prague in 2014. The 21 year-old has a valid contract with Udinese until June 2019.
Since his arrival from SK Slavia Prague, Jakub Jankto has scored four goals and provided four assists in 22 games for Udinese in all competitions this season.
The 21-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Czech Republic.
Jakub Jankto has represented Czech Republic at Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 14 caps and scoring 11 goals, before making his senior international debut in March 2017. As a member of Czech Republic national football team, Jankto has won only two caps and scored one goal.
The Czech Republic international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of midfield player Arsène Wenger wants to target in the next transfer window.
Euro Football Rumours were informed that Italian giant Juventus are apparently trailing Arsenal in the pursuit of Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto.
How strong that interest is and whether Arsenal will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
