Arsenal join the hunt for Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne

According to the football transfer rumours in Italian Media, Arsenal are join the hunt for Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne.

Lorenzo Insigne has joined Napoli from Napoli Under 19 in 2010. The 25 year-old has a valid contract with Napoli until the June 2019.

The Italy international has scored 38 goals and provided 45 assists in 198 games for Napoli, including nine goals and eight assists in 33 games in all competition this season.

Insigne has also represented Italy at Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 20 caps across all age groups and scoring eight goals. Since September 2012, he is a member of Italy national football team winning 13 caps and scoring two goals.

The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best wingers in Serie A.

The Italy international has been in fantastic form for Napoli this season.

Euro Football Rumours understood that Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis is valuating Lorenzo Insigne around 52 million euros.

Lorenzo Insigne has been target of Arsène Wenger as the manager look to bolster his attacking options for the next season.

Arsenal aren’t the only one who are reportedly interested in the 25-year-old. Liverpool are also thought to be tracking him.

How strong that interest is and whether Arsenal will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
