Arsenal interested in Feyenoord midfielder

Arsenal appear to have a genuine interest in signing Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu this summer.

The Turkey international joined Feyenoord from Groningen for a fee in the region of 40,000 euros in July 2014. His contract expires in the summer of 2023.

Kokcu made 41 appearances across all competitions for Feyenoord, scoring 7 goals and supplying 8 assists in return.

The 19-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Turkey.

Orkun Kokcu has represented Turkey at Under-21 level, winning 2 caps.

His impressive performances this season have apparently caught the eye of some of Europe’s big clubs.

Mikel Arteta is looking to shore up his attacking options and Feyenoord’s Orkun Kokcu happens to be a target.

The Turkey international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of midfielder Arteta wants to target in the summer transfer window.
