The defensive department of Milan squad needs quality additions this winter.
According to a report from Calciomercato, AC Milan will look to sign Tottenham right-back Serge Aurier.
The Ivory Coast international was signed by Tottenham in August 2017 from Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of 25 million euros. The 26-year-old has a contract until 2022 with the club.
Aurier has played 43 times for Tottenham since signing from Paris Saint-Germain, scoring 4 goals and creating 7 assists.
He’s incredibly experienced for a 26-year-old and still has tons of room for growth.
As a member of Ivory Coast national football team, Aurier won 51 caps and he scored one goal.
Serge Aurier is widely regarded as a key transfer target for AC Milan this winter.
Marco Giampaolo is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this winter.
There is no doubt that Serge Aurier will take Milan’s defense to a different level.
According to Calciomercato, “AC Milan remain interested in Serge Aurier, according to a report from SportMediaset. The Rossoneri are looking for a new full-back to replace Conti, who has failed to impress thus far, and the Tottenham defender is a concrete option for the winter transfer window.”
