He’s incredibly experienced for a 23-year-old and still has tons of room for growth.
Roca has represented Spain at Under-21 level, winning 7 caps and scoring two goals.
The Spain Under-21 international is set to be a man in demand in the summer transfer window, with a host of clubs queueing up to pursue his signature.
AC Milan have built a reputation for recruiting young talent from within Europe, predominantly targeting those with sell-on value and immense potential.
The 23-year-old has the talent to play many roles in midfield.
According to the report, “Milan are showing interest in RCD Espanyol creative midfielder Marc Roca, whose contract only runs to June 2022. According to Milannews.it, the Rossoneri have been tracking the 23-year-old for some time and asked about his interest in a potential transfer. RCD Espanyol are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the midfielder, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.
Good signing for AC Milan?
It is smart from the club to invest in younger players, rather than splashing out big money on experienced players with no resale value.
Nevertheless, Marc Roca stands as an excellent option for Milan.
Roca is very highly rated in Spain and he could be a superb long term signing for Milan.
How strong that interest is and whether AC Milan will make a move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
