AC Milan keen to land Liverpool star Divock Origi

The Liverpool forward has been identified as one of the club’s potential targets as Stefano Pioli looks to add more reinforcements in the attacking unit.

According to the football transfer rumours in British media, AC Milan are keen to land Liverpool forward Divock Origi.

The 26-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.

He has been with Liverpool since 2014, having signed for the club from Lille for 12.6 million euros. The 26-year-old has a valid contract with Liverpool until June 2022.

This season, Origi has scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists in 14 appearances for Liverpool.

The 26-year-old is considered to be one of the best forwards in Belgium. Origi has also left his mark at the international stage after netting 3 goals in 31 senior appearances for the Belgium national team.

AC Milan have earmarked Liverpool forward Divock Origi as their target, with Stefano Pioli being a ‘huge admirer’ of the player.

According to the report, “AC Milan are targeting a Bosman deal for Liverpool striker Divock Origi. The Daily Mail says the 26-year old is out of contract in the summer though Liverpool have an option to extend should he make a set number of starts this season. As it stands that is a target he is unlikely to hit. Milan were among three Serie A clubs to approach Origi in January as they made their intentions clear. Origi also had interest from other Premier League sides but is attracted by the chance to join Milan should they match his wage demands. Belgium international Origi, who missed Wednesday night’s match at Arsenal, has scored five goals in 14 appearances this season including one against Milan in the Champions League.”
