Wolverhampton prepare offer for Martin Odegaard
Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard is a target for Wolverhampton in the winter transfer window.
According to the football transfer rumours in Spanish media, Wolverhampton Wanderers are preparing offer for Martin Odegaard.
The Norway international was signed by Real Madrid in January 2015 from Strømsgodset for a fee of 2.5 million euros.
The 20-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Norway.
Martin Odegaard has represented Norway at Under-15, Under-16, Under-17 and Under-21 level, winning 30 caps and scoring 5 goals, before making his senior international debut in August 2014. As a member of Norway national football team, Odegaard won 20 caps and he scored one goal.
His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Wolverhampton.
Nuno Espírito Santo wants to sign a new midfielder and Martin Odegaard is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have built a reputation for recruiting young talent from within Europe, predominantly targeting those with sell-on value and immense potential.
Santo is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this winter.

He has spent the last two seasons out on loan, at Heerenveen and Vitesse respectively, before joining the Basque club at the start of the season. Wolves are expected to test the water with a £20M bid in early 2020, as they look to climb the Premier League table, after a poor start to the 2019-20 season.”
