West Ham United close to Brentford forward deal
Brentford forward Scott Hogan has emerged as a surprise target for West Ham United in the January transfer window.
According to the football transfer rumours in English Media, West Ham United are tipped to sign Brentford forward Scott Hogan.
The England international has joined Brentford from Rochdale for a fee in the region of 880,000 euros in 2014. The 24 year-old has a valid contract with Brentford until the end of the season.
Since his arrival from Rochdale, Hogan has scored 21 goals and provided one assist in 35 games for Brentford, including 14 goals and provided one assist in 26 games in all competition this season.
The England international is a player who has impressed many Premier Clubs in this season, and it is understood that West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic would prefer playing him as a forward. He could be fantastic addition to West Ham United attacking options for the second part of the season.
Euro Football Rumours understood that West Ham United have already agree a deal with Brentford representatives to sign Scott Hogan. The move is likely to be completed within the next few days.
