West Ham join the hunt for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner
According to the football transfer rumours in German and English Media (ReadBundesliga), West Ham United have joined the hunt for Red Bull Leipzig forward Timo Werner.
The Germany international has joined Red Bull Leipzig from VfB Stuttgart for a fee in the region of 10 million euros in July 2016. The 21-year-old has a valid contract with Red Bull Leipzig until June 2020.
Timo Werner has scored 21 goals and provided seven assists in 32 games for Red Bull Leipzig in all competitions this season.
The Germany international has been in outstanding form for Red Bull Leipzig this season.
Timo Werner has represented Germany at Under-15, Under-16, Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 45 caps and scoring 33 goals, before making his senior international debut in March 2017. As a member of Germany national football team, Werner has won one cap.
