West Ham eyeing move for Bournemouth striker Joshua King
It’s no secret that West Ham are interested in Joshua King. But who isn’t?
West Ham are eyeing move for Bournemouth striker Joshua King, according to the football transfer rumours in British media.
The Norway international joined Bournemouth from Blackburn Rovers on a free transfer in July 2015. His contract expires in the summer of 2021.
In 171 appearances for Bournemouth, King has managed to score 50 goals, and create 17 goals for his teammates.
The 28-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Norway.
King has also left his mark at the international stage after netting 17 goals in 48 senior appearances for the Norway national team.
His performances have seen him become the target of many Premier League clubs including West Ham.
David Moyes wants to sign a new striker and King is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.
Joshua King is a long-term target of West Ham and could be a decent addition for Moyes’ side.
The 28-year-old is a dynamic striker, who possesses good technical skills and ball control. He has the quality and the experience to make an immediate impact.
According to the report, “The Hammers are interested in the versatile Norwegian forward and are mulling over making an offer. King, 28, is into the last year of his contract at the Vitality. The Cherries are open to selling him as they do not want a repeat of the Ryan Fraser situation where a key player runs down their deal. Fraser joined Newcastle on a free transfer in the summer. Bournemouth, currently third in the Championship, are understood to be ready to do business for around £12million. King has only made one appearance for the Cherries this season, coming on as a second-half sub in last month’s 1-0 win over Norwich.”

Bournemouth are preparing to sell their striker should they receive right offer for him.
Good signing for West Ham?
If Joshua King is available for the right price, then he could be a clever acquisition for the Hammers.
A move away from Bournemouth will not be only the best move for King, but also for the club.
All in all, Joshua King will be an ideal choice for David Moyes as he ticks all the right boxes in terms of what he demands from his attackers.
West Ham fans would certainly love to see him arrive at the club.
If Moyes sees him as the right man for his side, West Ham should quickly make a move to fend off interest from other clubs.
