VfL Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs has been sacked

According to the German Press, VfL Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs has been sacked.

Poor results of the Bundesliga club are the main reason why 60-year-old was fired.

VfL Wolfsburg are currently on 15th position in the Bundesliga standings with only two wins in 14 matches. They will be looking for Allofs alternative who can change as soon as possible the current situation at the club.

“I wish for VfL Wolfsburg that new forces are released and we quickly return to where this club belongs with its fans – namely upwards! It was a great honor for me to work for VfL Wolfsburg. It is personally a sad day for me. After intensive discussions, we have come to the decision for the best interests of VfL Wolfsburg,” said Klaus Allofs.
