Andreas Skov Olsen made 51 appearances across all competitions for Nordsjaelland, scoring 27 goals and supplying 7 assists in return.

The 19-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Denmark.

Olsen has represented Denmark at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 18 caps and scoring 6 goals.

His impressive performances this season have apparently caught the eye of some of Europe’s big clubs.

Mauricio Pochettino has always been a manager who keeps his eyes on the most talented young players across the globe.

The Denmark international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of winger Pochettino wants to target in the summer transfer window.

According to The Sun, “Mauricio Pochettino is leading the £10million race for Andreas Skov Olsen — dubbed the next Christian Eriksen in Denmark. The Tottenham boss had the 19-year-old winger watched last season during his free-scoring campaign for Nordsjaelland in the Danish top flight. Olsen netted 22 times and has Europe’s top clubs following his progress. Bayern Munich and Barcelona have been alerted to his talent. Everton are also keen but Poch is in pole position to land the youngster because of his success working with young players at Spurs.”

Nordsjaelland are reluctant to let Olsen go, but a big enough bid could persuade them to sell.

Signing the 19-year-old in the summer transfer window would be a masterstroke from Pochettino.

Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Tottenham.

Will Andreas Skov Olsen be a Tottenham player soon? Only time will tell. Thanks to his great displays, he’ll be at a much bigger club than Nordsjaelland this time next year.
