The latest reports in England suggest that Tottenham are keen to land Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa.
The 32-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
The Spain international joined Atletico from Chelsea for a fee in the region of 60 million euros in January 2018. His contract expires in the summer of 2021.
The striker has banged in one goal in four matches for Atletico this term on all fronts.
The 32-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Spain.

The Spain international previously enjoyed a prolific spell in the Premier League, although he wasn’t without his controversial moments. His Chelsea career ended with 59 goals from 120 games. Jose Mourinho initially took Costa to Stamford Bridge in 2014, and according to Don Balon, the Tottenham boss is now eyeing a reunion with the striker. The Spanish outlet claims that Mourinho has identified Costa as ideal competition for Harry Kane. A deal would have to wait until next summer, though. Costa will become a free agent at the end of the season, at which time Tottenham will be one of the main contenders for his signature, claims Don Balon.”
