Tottenham interested in PSG midfielder Idrissa Gueye
The Spurs are reportedly keeping a close eye on many midfielders across the Europe.
According to multiple reports emanating from France, Tottenham are interested in PSG star Idrissa Gueye.
The 32-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
Since moving to PSG from Everton in what was a 30 million euros deal back in 2019, Gueye has gone on to feature 110 times for the club, scoring 7 goals and providing 6 assists along the way.
The 32-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Senegal. His record for Senegal is also impressive. Gueye has scored 7 goals in 90 matches for Senegal at senior level.
The midfielder has just 12 months remaining on his contract and PSG may consider a deal in this transfer window to avoid losing him for nothing next summer.
His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Tottenham. Adding a midfielder remains Tottenham’s top priority this summer and Antonio Conte will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming weeks.
Antonio Conte is a firm fan of PSG midfielder and Tottenham could make a move for the player if the financial aspect makes sense.
