Torino will look to sign Leicester City midfielder Dennis Praet

Torino had been linked with a potential move to sign Dennis Praet in the summer transfer window.

As per British media, Torino will look to sign Leicester City midfielder Dennis Praet in January.

The Belgium international joined Leicester City from Sampdoria for a fee in the region of 19.2 million euros in August 2019. His contract expires in the summer of 2024.

The midfielder has featured in 4 matches for Leicester City this term in all competitions.

He is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Belgium. As a member of Belgium national football team, Praet won 15 caps and he scored 2 goals.

Adding a midfielder remains Torino’s top priority this winter and Ivan Juric will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming months.

Dennis Praet is a long-term target of Torino and could be a decent addition for Juric’s side.

Torino are desperate to make an impact in the winter transfer window.

There is no doubt that Praet will take Torino’s midfield to a different level.

According to the report, “Torino are ready to try again for Leicester City midfielder Dennis Praet. After last season’s loan, Torino made a new attempt to re-sign Praet this summer. However, Leicester refused to do business. Toro remain keen and Tuttosport says they will try again in January. For his part, Praet is also open to returning to Toro. The Belgium midfielder was blocked from leaving by Leicester as they struggled to find a replacement.”
